DK Fotinakis is simultaneously executing over nine high-demand repair projects at Skaramangas Shipyards, including Suezmax and LR type tankers, confirming both the company’s high expertise and the strategic role of the Shipyards as one of the few facilities in the Mediterranean capable of servicing vessels of this size and technical complexity.
The increasing presence of large-capacity commercial vessels at Skaramangas Shipyards confirms the robust recovery of the Greek ship repair industry and highlights Skaramangas Shipyards’ unique operational capabilities in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Over the past few weeks, DK Fotinakis has been managing a series of demanding repair and maintenance projects on more than nine vessels simultaneously, including Suezmax and LR type tankers. These are vessels whose size, draft requirements, and technical complexity can be accommodated by only a handful of shipyards across the Mediterranean.
The projects currently underway include highly specialised technical works requiring rigorous planning, cross-functional coordination, flexibility, and execution under exceptionally demanding timelines.
Operating out of Skaramangas Shipyards, DK Fotinakis continues to support complex repair programmes for leading shipping lines, meeting the surging regional demand for reliable, large-scale solutions.
