DK Fotinakis proudly announces the successful completion of repair works on the High-Speed Ferry “Kydon Palace” of Minoan Lines-Grimaldi Group, in record time, at Skaramangas Shipyards.
The repair, which involved replacing a significant portion of the steel plates on the passenger/vehicle ferry due to damage sustained in a collision, was completed in just 8 days: an impressive achievement given the scale and complexity of the work.
It is worth noting that completing the repair within such a short timeframe was critical, as the vessel operates at the height of the summer season on the Brindisi–Corfu–Igoumenitsa route.
This successful and timely delivery was the result of a coordinated effort and close collaboration between the experienced teams of DK Fotinakis, Skaramangas Shipyards, the Italian classification society RINA, and Minoan Lines.
